Moustafa: Hello everyone and welcome back to Passion Sundays, the best way to end a week and start another. Our guest today is phenomenally passionate about entrepreneurship. He's one of the world-leading entrepreneur coach and he's passionate about helping you become one – Mac Attram!Mac: Good to meet you!Moustafa: Mac, thank you very much for being here today!Mac: You're most welcome! Thank you for inviting me!Moustafa: I'm really excited to get you on camera because I've been watching some of your stuff before and we met and you know, you come across really passionate and really genuine. So I wanna know first - what does passion mean to you?Mac: Oh, wow, that's a great question! I think that question, what does passion mean to me is doing things that are within your flow. Things that bring you alive! Whatever it is, you know, whether it is in sports or whether it's in business or politics. Whatever it is, because everybody is different. What makes one person passionate about something… Take football. This person is really passionate and will sleep, eat football and the other person is 'what's the point with with that?'. Do what is passionate for you, there is no right or wrong.Moustafa: Awesome! And your passion is obviously entrepreneurship and helping people build passion.Mac: It's one of my businesses. Yeah, absolutely, I love helping people to really build the business that they want to build, make the money that they wanna make, grow their wealth and grow their income. And when I'm on stage and I'm doing that, it's from a passionate place because I've been in a place where I've lost money, I was broke, I was in debt and I managed to turn that around and then help too. I love helping people to build what they wanna build!Moustafa: So in your opinion what would be the secret to passion?Mac: What's the secret to passion? Wow!Moustafa: Somebody being passionate. Passion is success to me so whichever it is. What is the secret to passion and success?Mac:What really drives you? What really gets you excited? What lights up your fire? What's that thing in your belly when you're doing it? Time flies away and when the time is flying away, you look at the time and you think 'is that the time?' and that means you were in a moment doing something in flow where it really wasn't about money, it wasn't about anything else. It was about doing something that…Moustafa: Makes time fly! I like that.Mac: Makes time fly, exactly!Moustafa: And then you know you're in the moment. It's one of the questions that I actually ask in my passion journey and workshops and coaching people. What's that one thing that makes time fly and you don't feel time going?Mac: Right!Moustafa: And that is definitely a sign of passion because you won't be counting hours, you're just gonna hit success and then one day go 'uh! I'm here'.Mac: There you go, exactly!Moustafa: I love it!Mac: Exactly!Moustafa: You know, all of that sounds fun and nice, but we know that the plan never goes according to plan, especially in the entrepreneurship world, when everybody thinks 'I'm gonna wake up, I'm gonna buy this, I'm gonna sell that and make money'.Mac: Aha.Moustafa: And we know the journey is more like up and down, up and down.Mac: That's right…Moustafa: How do you find passion when times are low?Mac: How do I generate passion when times are low? You got some great questions here!Moustafa: Thanks!Mac: Nowadays and for the past eleven years for me it all started from knowing what my purpose, my mission in life is. And when I discovered that, it stopped me searching here, searching there. It's actually 'What is it that I'm born to be doing? What is it that I find easy to do? What is it that when I'm helping people do it's for me… So my mission become to inspire, educate and empower people to live a life of joy, courage, passion and purpose. You see, passion is in there.Moustafa: Passion and purpose.Mac: Absolutely! Passion and purpose. So when I'm doing that, whether I'm on the stage or writing a book or speaking to entrepreneurs, whatever. For me ultimately I fall into that passion area so people are looking at me on stage and say 'where is this guy getting all that energy from?'. It's, it's, it just comes through me and I deliver it in that way. For me it's joy, it's happiness, it's helping people, it's adding value, it's all those things.Moustafa: See, you simply just bypassed the question, which is there is no problems because how I'm looking at it it's what I'm working for and then suddenly that thing is just…Mac: Not necessarily what I'm working for. What I'm supposed to be doing!Moustafa: Ok. Ok.Mac: And not many people start and ask themselves this question 'What is it that I'm supposed to be doing in this life?' And if you imagine that…. Just imagine for a second. We all just have 24 hours, all of us. Imagine… You are 70 years, 80 years, 90 years. Put it down to 24 hours. In those 24 hours – what are you supposed to be doing? Because those 90 years will come like that. So every day I live, what am I supposed to be doing? And for me, helping entrepreneurs, helping people to grow personally, helping people to grow their wealth, helping people to live the life they want, helping people to be happy, live passionately. If I'm doing that, I'm alive!Moustafa: I love that! So is it about being altruistic or altruistic? Is it more for me or is it more for others?Mac: Good question!Moustafa: Because I've got answers from people saying well, passion is about being outward focused and people saying it's inward focused.Mac: My attitude is both. My attitude is both, let me give you an example. Why make money? Ok, I make money…some people say 'I make money to pay my bills'. Ok, why grow your wealth? Oh, well, so I can have a lifestyle, I can have a yacht and all of these vacations. Ok. Do you know that if you focus on building… If you want a lot of income, you want to create great wealth, many people have become wealthy but they're not happy. So if you focus on helping people in whatever way, whatever your passion is. Helping people to get what they want, right? But you're doing it from a place where you are inspired, you are. From a place of passion, you want to do that! And you are adding value to them, guess what? The money will come. So when I say both, I'm talking about you doing what you're supposed to be doing. The people would come to you and then it's a match. That means you're gonna get what you want.Moustafa: You serve people, people serve you. It's direct, the universe will pay you back.Mac: Exactly.
