97 years young and still teaches Yoga, Tao Porchon-Lynch reveals her secrets.
She says: “If you believe in something go and do it. Look fear in the eye and say “you are transitory.” Happy International Happiness Day! What better way to help you celebrate than an interview with the world’s happiest person I have ever met! Tao Porchon-Lynch is 97 years young yet still teaches 6 yoga classes weekly; and she started competitive ballroom dancing at the age of 87, does it get more passionate than this!
I believe her secret is in her positive attitude, when I asked her where do you get passion from she said: “I wake up in the morning and I look for all the beauty around me. I know that even in a calamity something good will happen.”
Her advice for you to find passion is: “If you believe in something go and do it! Don’t procrastinate; don’t put it off until tomorrow because tomorrow never comes. Look fear in the eyes and say: “you are transitory.”
The power of her words brought tears to my eyes, so don’t procrastinate do watch the episode and spread the love; this is one of the most mind blowing interviews I have ever done!

Video about Tao ends
Moustafa: So how’re you?
Tao: I am very good. Thank you.
Moustafa: I mean, tell me first where do you get all this passion from?
Tao: From deep inside of me and when I look around me and I see all these fantastic buildings that have sprung up, they really represent the beauty of life. Then, I feel it inside of me as well.
Moustafa: Wow amazing!
Tao: Same energy
Moustafa: And how did you find passion for yoga?
Tao: Oh dear! Through some young boys they asked me- what you doing in film, why are you not teaching Yoga? And, so I decided that since I didn’t really know enough about it, that if I did it, I wanted it to be worthwhile for everyone. Not just a gymnasium, I wanted it to come from deep in our hearts and open up that door.
Moustafa: Wow amazing! So if you would tell people to live with passion, how important would that be for them and what’s the best way for them to find their passion?
Tao: The best way to find your passion is, if you believe in something go and do it! But if you want to bring together something, don’t procrastinate and know that even in a calamity, something good will happen.
Tao: And so, I feel that, out of everything; but don’t put it off until tomorrow because tomorrow never comes. One minute after midnight and it’s already today.
Tao: So let it be a part, of what you believe in.
Moustafa: And how easy is it to stay passionate? Because obviously you are ageless, you are still practicing, you’re still getting there, I mean, you make it look easy, but I am sure, it’s not easy. It takes effort and energy.
Tao: No. Not too much. I wake up in the morning and I look for all the beauty around me. I go and I look at my plants. I have one plant that will even talk to me and I look out of the window and I see these wonderful birds flying around. And I think that’s nature and nature is my encyclopedia of life.
Moustafa: Amazing! Thank you very much
I’m sure our guests would agree that this stands to be “THE MOST PASSIONATE INTERVIEW EVER”
Moustafa: Thank you very much. You’re awesome!
Tao: look fear in the eye and say you are transitory
Until the next episode, live passionately!
